With minimum cost and complexity, the Intellinet Network Solutions Outdoor Vandalproof Gigabit Media Converter and PoE+ Injector offers the network designer a way to migrate from copper-based Ethernet to fiber Ethernet or to expand an existing network. This Outdoor Media Converter and PoE Injector is completely transparent to the network, so the network performs exactly the way it did before, only now it can support both copper and fiber media. It can achieve building-to-building connectivity without the need for the cost and disruption associated with the installation of additional routers.

Hardened design for outdoor and industrial use

This SFP Media Converter and PoE+ injector is the right power and data connector for its suitability to a wide variety of environments. Its weatherproof IP67 (waterproof and dustproof) rating, vast operating temperature range of -4 to 140ºF (-20 to 60ºC) and vandal-proof IK10 score enable this Media Converter and Power over Ethernet Injector to withstand harsh conditions and industrial environments. Beyond that, it has ratings for shock (IEC 60068-2-27), freefall (IEC 60068-2-32) and vibration (IEC 60068-2-6).

More capable with Power over Ethernet and reduced wiring costs

This media converter brings power to where there is none, which helps avoid the need to hire an electrician and run electrical lines. Once you've quickly wired DC power to the Injector through its two-pin terminal block, simply connect this PoE+ Injector to your Powered Device or switch using existing Cat5/6/6a cabling to deliver power as well as transfer data at 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds up to 100 m (328 ft.) away.

Safe protection for your expensive network equipment

The auto-sensing technology ensures that your products are protected from power problems like short circuits (short GND), current overloads and high voltages. Port surge protection up to 6 kV and ESD protection up to 8 kV make its safety complete.

Wall-mount option

For full installation flexibility indoors or outdoors, you can mount the injector on the wall through its four built-in holes. The required mounting kit is part of the package contents.
