Section 889 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) contains a set of guidelines aimed to provide increased protection against espionage and hacker attacks. In addition, there are named Chinese companies that produce components used for telecommunications purposes, (including security products) that will be no longer be acceptable for use in federal government projects. For telecommunications equipment, network equipment included, Intellinet is fully compliant and does not source any critical networking components from the list of companies or affiliates specified in section 889.
